How it works
Four steps to a set house.
Modular is not a different kind of house. It is the same house, built under a roof, so a rainy month does not push your move-in date.
Step 1
Pick a plan
Start from a floor plan that fits your lot and the way you live.
Ranches, capes, and two stories. We will tell you honestly which ones work on the ground you have and which ones do not.
Step 2
Spec it out
Change the layout, the finishes, and the details until it is your house.
Move a wall, add a bath, stretch the great room, put the primary suite on the first floor. This is where most of the decisions get made.
Step 3
Built at the factory
Your home goes into production and is built indoors, typically in six to eight weeks.
Framing, wiring, plumbing, insulation, drywall, cabinets. All of it happens under a roof, inspected as it goes.
Step 4
Delivered and set
The home is trucked to your lot and craned onto its foundation, usually in a single day.
Set day is the one everybody takes pictures of. The house goes from a foundation to a home between breakfast and dinner.
What comes next
Every lot is a little different.
Permits, site work, foundation, utilities, and finish work all depend on the ground you own and what you want to take on yourself. The fastest way to get a straight answer is to call us and walk through it.
